Learn and develop the latest tools and techniques for effective workplace training in an upcoming seminar on ACA International’s Trainer Specialist Program, April 17-19.
ACA International certified instructors Michael O'Meara Esq., president at The O’Meara Law Office, PS., Inc. in Everett, Wash., and Debra Ciskey, IFCCE, compliance officer at Wakefield and Associates Inc. in Aurora, Colo., will lead the three-day CORE: Trainer Specialist seminar to provide ACA members with the latest professional development resources to maximize success in the industry.
For collection managers and trainers, the tools required to train collectors are essential to the day-to-day operations. Under the current rapidly-changing regulatory environment, it’s essential to bare the techniques to facilitate training for both ACA’s Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and ACA’s Essential Collection Skills and Techniques (ECSt) that your clients are demanding.
Objectives of the trainer specialist program include:
Describe the role of ACA and importance of continuing education.
Explain roles and responsibilities of a trainer specialist with your agency and ACA International.
Apply principles of adult education theory and practice to preparation and delivery of FDCPA and ECST.
This program is intended for trainers who have industry experience, have successfully passed the Professional Collection Specialist exam and have full knowledge of the two "CORE" courses: ECST and FDCPA Essentials for Collectors. By the end of the program, your staff will meet the necessary requirements that apply for the Professional Collection Specialist designation.
