The Southeast Region of the AAPC Regional Coordinator

The vision of AAPC-SE is to provide a welcoming community of therapists and other professionals grounded in diverse spiritual traditions and communities of faith that is informed by research and science, and offers education, connection, and support for those engaged in vocations of compassion, transformation, and healing. In order to support its vision, AAPC-SE desires to contract for non-profit business services with an experienced individual who shares AAPC-SE’s goals and objectives.
The Regional Coordinator will engage in providing professional association management services to the SE Region in the following ways:
Consult with AAPC-SE officers,members, vendors, and other stakeholders to help the organization fulfill its mission and objectives.
Coordinate and assist volunteer leadership with regard to the implementation and ongoing development of the following, in a manner that is consistent with the standards and guidelines of the AAPC-SE vision:
Professional Development (e.g., Curriculum development, Certification program development, Continuing Education, Conferences, including Kanuga, Consultation and Peer Supervision);
Member Support (e.g., Member Care and Retention, Volunteer Development);
Connections and Outreach (e.g., Membership Growth, Mobilization and Advocacy, Communication, including monthly newsletter, Developing Local Chapters, Developing Student Affiliate Groups);
Administration and Finance (e.g., Budgeting, Fundraising, Coordination with regional administrator, Coordination with vendors.)
3. Prepare and maintain an updated and current report of monthly activities and activities and accomplishments for the Regional Chair.
4. Participate in AAPC-SE meetings as requested and authorized by the Regional Chair.
5. As needed and time permits, consult with other professionals on questions of professional, legal, and ethical issues.
Individuals interested in this contract should be:

The initial term for the contract is two years with additional one-year renewable extensions with mutual consent. This is a $40,000 contract payable in monthly portions.
